Biotechnologist specialized in the environment and international development. She disseminates energy culture, does technical consulting, and fundraising, and she also explores new areas of business.
Joana Mundo has a degree in Biotechnology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. She has also studied a Master’s degree in Bioengineering with a specialization in Environment at the Université de Technologie de Compiègne and International Development at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
Since 2012, she has been managing national and international projects at Ecoserveis on a variety of topics: Funding mechanisms and business models for energy projects, renewable energies, energy efficiency, energy poverty and climate change. She also provides technical consultancy to public administration organizations for strategic planning in the field of energy, energy poverty and climate change, as well as consultancy for the drafting of European projects. She has also conducted studies on energy poverty and participated in publications on energy rights, among many others. Furthermore, she collaborates monthly with the “Vida Verda” program on Ràdio 4, from where she contributes to the dissemination of the energy culture.
Ecoserveis is also responsible for international business development and fundraising in order to continue to innovate in the field of energy.
