Biotechnologist specializing in the environment and international development. She disseminates energy culture, provides technical consultancy, fundraising and explores new business areas.
Joana has a degree in Biotechnology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. She has also studied the master’s degrees in Bioengineering with a specialization in the Environment at the Université de Technologie de Compiègne and in International Development at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
Since 2012, he has managed national and international projects at Ecoserveis on various topics: financing mechanisms and business models for energy projects, renewable energies, energy efficiency, energy poverty and climate change. He also provides technical consultancy to public entities for strategic planning in the field of energy, energy poverty and climate change, as well as consultancy for the drafting of European projects. In addition, he has carried out studies on energy poverty and has participated in publications on energy rights and energy poverty, among others. He collaborates monthly with the “Vida Verda” program on Radio 4, from where he contributes to the dissemination of energy culture.
At Ecoserveis, he is also responsible for international business development and fundraising to continue carrying out innovation in the field of energy.
