Description
The Energy Poverty Advisory Hub (EPAH) is the EU’s flagship initiative to eradicate energy poverty and accelerate the just energy transition of European local governments. Building on the learnings gained through the EU Energy Poverty Observatory, EPAH is action-oriented by creating a space for collaboration, advice and knowledge exchange.
EPAH’s mission is to be the central platform of experience and knowledge on energy poverty available to local authorities and agents interested in adopting effective measures.
EPAH has an advisory service for municipalities with a multidisciplinary team of experts in energy poverty. Through several competitive open calls, municipalities can request technical advice. Selected municipalities will receive high-quality technical assistance lasting between 3 and 9 months. This will be aimed at advancing the diagnosis of local energy poverty, the planning and/or implementation of effective plans and measures that prevent or mitigate energy poverty in their municipality.
EPAH aims to achieve the involvement of a large number of European municipalities and local actors and functions as a center for personalized attention services.
