Maria pursued a degree in Industrial Engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. She has also completed a Double Master’s Degree in Energy Engineering and Industrial Engineering at the UPC, and her specialty is renewable energy. She has worked on energy communities based on photovoltaic solar systems from a the technical, legislative and social perspectives.

Maria combines her professional career as an engineer with climate activism.
