FES 2025

XXVI Sustainable Energy Forum

Energy and Territory: the energy transition in the rural world

The Sustainable Energy Forum celebrates its twenty-fifth edition as a space for reflection on the energy transition, focusing on the rural world and the challenges associated with the change in the energy model.

This year, in a context of global transformation towards a more sustainable energy model, the FES focuses on the impact of the energy transition on the rural world, a fundamental sector on the path towards a more territorially balanced, fair and equitable model. European projects such as Renoverty , Entrack and Tandem will offer an innovative vision on the opportunities and challenges that the transition entails for rural communities or those located outside the urban area.

This year’s forum will take place on April 25, 2025 in the European Commission Representation Room in Barcelona (Pg. de Gràcia, 90, 1st Floor), from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

A day in which we will have the participation of experts and representatives of the rural world, addressing topics such as the European Rural Pact , the impacts of the energy transition and rural energy planning , as well as the challenge of energy rehabilitation at the local level .

Come and participate in this conference and contribute your vision on how to promote the energy transition in the rural world and guarantee its sustainability!
