We publicise our projects with the aim of promoting a fair and sustainable Europe: energy communities, building renovation and combating energy poverty
The colleagues of the Association Ecoserveis Energy Culture have been at the EUSEW 2024 (European Sustainable Energy Week), an event focused on clean energy solutions for a competitive Europe. This European Commission initiative promotes energy efficiency and renewable energy through conferences, workshops, site visits and other events.
Different projects were presented in which we participated; we couldn’t miss it!
The Sun4All project presented its experience with local energy communities for a fair and inclusive energy transition, together with the intervention of Pau Pañella from the Local Energy Agency of Osona. At the same time, a menu of energy policies was exhibited with the participation of Camila Canelas from the Ecoserveis Association.
The Energy Poverty Advisory Hub (EPAH) project was presented by the director of the Ecoserveis Association Marta García París, and together with the Cooltorise project played a central role in the ‘Cool In The City’ session on measures to adapt to the impacts of climate change.
The Comanage project, also on local energy communities, the Renoverty project on energy rehabilitation of buildings in rural areas, the V2Marquet project on bidirectional charging of electric vehicles, and the Climate Pact project on raising public awareness of the energy transition, were also present in the cycle of presentations and activities of the EUSEW 2024.
We highlight the interest that these projects have aroused among the attendees, the wide representation by members of the European Commission during our interventions, and a clear message: the importance of energy efficiency, degrowth and self-sufficiency initiatives for a sustainable and fair future.

Thank you to everyone who participated and made this experience possible!
